Year 2 Curriculum

About Year 2

Year 2 consists of two classes, named 2H and 2O. We have access to an open area for group work and often use the outdoor learning space to promote their curiosity and fascination of the outside world. We have a library time each week where we can read, enjoy and borrow one of our interesting and engaging books. Each class has their own reading area, interactive whiteboard and resources to support children’s learning. Across the year, we cover lots of exciting topics including some experience days. Each day there are opportunities for children to develop their independence, resilience and mindfulness through a range of activities.
