Year 1 Example timetable

How parents can support children at home

Please continue to listen to your child read and also read to your child to help them develop a passion for reading. This will also help with their fluency, comprehension, use of vocabulary and the use of their imagination. Please record every read in your child's reading diary.

We are following the phonics initiative called Little Wandle. E-books will be arranged for your child at the beginning of October.
